This is a lightly oxidized oolong crafted in the Anxi Region of China. Our Anxi Tikuanyin is a low-oxidized, green-style Oolong. Its rolled leaves are deep green with just a hint of brown coloration. Once steeped, the leaves release a wonderful floral aroma. The taste is rich and sweet with undertones of roasted nuts. The tea's nuanced flavors are created in a multi-step, hours long, process of semi-oxidizing the leaves. This tea is rich, layered and satisfying and will provide multiple steeps to enjoy.
Origin: Anxi County, Fujian Province, China.
Brewing: 2 teaspoons per 16 ounces hot water (195-205 degrees). Give the tea an initial 1 second rinse. Then, let steep 2 minutes (first infusion), gradually increasing steep time for subsequent infusions.
