Kukicha is a traditional Japanese green tea. Created by blending the tender tea leaves, stems, and stem fibers that are collected during sen cha processing, Kukicha uses parts of the tea plant that are usually excluded from most other tea styles. The resulting brew is pleasantly sweet with a hint of creaminess. Great for those sensitive to astringency, Kukicha is surprisingly less temperamental than most Japanese green teas.
