Our chamomile is grown along the River Nile Delta in Egypt. Very aromatic with notes of green apples, chamomile calms the nerves and aids in digestion. It is a low-growing relative of the sunflower, native to Easter Europe and now found around the world. Chamomile grown in Egypt has an exceptionally high content of essential oils. Chamomile was used as a medicine by the Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans and, today, is traditionally used to induce sleep.
