Matcha is a type of powdered green tea grown in the shade, which is traditionally used in the Japanese tea ceremony. Our Matcha made in Shizuoka, Japan offers a deep fragrance, vibrant green color, smooth texture and sweet aftertaste. Tencha is the shaded green tea specially produced for Matcha. After harvest, Tencha is deveined, de-stemmed, and stone ground to make Matcha.


Origin: Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.

Brewing: Scoop 1 teaspoon matcha into matcha bowl. Add 2.5 ounces hot water (170 degrees) into bowl. Whisk until foamy.
