Sour Apple

My favorite jolly rancher as a kid was green apple. So, during one particularly bad sweet-tooth craving, went on a mission to blend a tea that would be as satisfying as candy. Hence my sugar-free alternative, Sour Apple green tea. This special blend has a Japanese sencha green tea base to compliment a slightly sweet and sour apple flavor. Great with a pinch of sugar, if you’re really craving.

 

Ingredients: Chinese green tea, apple bits, cornflower petals, natural essence.

Brewing: 1.5 teaspoons per 16 ounces hot water (190-195 degrees). Steep 2-3 minutes.
