Drunken Concubine

This is a high-grade oolong, much prized in China, and we hope it will intoxicate the drinker with its sublime aroma and nuanced taste. A rich tea, Drunken Concubine caresses the tongue with nectar. It has an uplifting body of blooming gardenias and sweet undertones ripe peaches. Fully opened, the rolled leaves are broad and long with serrated edges. Drunken Concubine continues to release its treasured taste over multiple steepings.

Origin: Anxi County, Fujian Province, China.

Brewing: 2 teaspoons per 16 ounces hot water (195-205 degrees). Give the tea an initial 1 second rinse. Then, let steep 2 minutes (first infusion), gradually increasing steep time for subsequent infusions.
